The meeting No.48/AM-12 for the licensing year 2011-12 to consider the cases under Duty Exemption Schemes (Chapter-

At the outset the Minutes of NC-V Meetings No.46/AM-12 dated 23.02.2012 and No.47/AM-12 dated 01.03.2012 were ratified. The agenda for meeting No.48/AM-12 dated 15.03.2012 was taken up for discussion and the decision taken in respect of each case is enumerated below:-

Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that there were typographical errors in the minutes of NC meeting No.42/AM-12 held on 19.01.2012 in this case. With the approval of Chairman, NC-V Committee, the errors has been rectified in respect of Srl. No.1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7(i), 8, 9 & 10 as indicated by the applicant firm vide their letter dated 7th March, 2012 and the same has been conveyed to the applicant firm vide DGFT letter dated 9.3.2012. No.7(ii) as indicated by the applicant firm vide their letter dated 7th March, 2012 for the higher requirement of fabric from 0.92 Sq. meter per piece to 0.98 Sq. meter per piece, the Committee is of the view that requirement of fabric of 0.92 Sq. meter per piece was calculated as per drawing, design and other relevant papers provided by the applicant firm and after deliberations in consultation with representatives of technical authorities present in the meeting. Therefore, Committee was not agreed with the demand of applicant firm for the higher requirement of fabric from 0.92 Sq. meter per piece to 0.98 Sq. meter per piece and maintained status quo in this case.
