The GSM of the fabric of import and export shall match. The Regional Authority shall be advised to take necessary action subject to compliance of other usual conditions.

M/s. Alok Industries Ltd., Mumbai. NC 13/11 dt. 24.06.2010 F.No. 01/84/50/103/AM-10/DES-V Ratification of input output norms against Advance Authorisation No.0310535945

PRO version dated 31.8.2009. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda and alongwith other relevant papers and heard Shri A.R. Chambal, C.M. and Shri Dharmendra Kumar Singh, Consultant an authorized representative of the firm, who appeared for personal hearing before NC. He explained the case alongwith relevant papers but Committee could not get satisfied with the justification for seeking higher wastage stage-wise in spite of their having very modern plant and machinery in this case. The Committee decided that a team comprising officers of DGFT, DIPP, DC (MSME) and R.O of TC, Noida will visit the units of the applicant firm for studying the manufacturing process and submit its report to the Committee for taking final view in this case. Hence, the case stands deferred for re-listing on 29.07.2010. In the meanwhile, the firm is advised to segregate the quantity of Grey Yarn and Dyes Yarn etc. in the export and export items. Firm may be informed accordingly.

Case No.123

M/s. J.D. Jones & Co. Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata. NC 13/11 dt. 24.06.2010 F.No. 01/84/162/387/AM-10/DES-V Ratification of input output norms against Advance Authorisation No.0210130835 dated 26.8.2009. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that the export item in this case has already been approved by the NC in its Meeting No.41/AM09 dated 8.1.2009. Therefore, Committee decided to withdraw this case from agenda and to advise R.A to decide on repeat basis (within one year case). The R.A. shall be advised to take necessary action subject to compliance of other usual conditions.
