Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that this case was cleared by erstwhile ALC in its meeting held on 23.06.2005 by allowing the item of import as applied by the firm for export of Ladies Blouse with winged collar. The Committee after deliberations in consultation with the representatives of technical authorities present in the meeting felt that for exports made prior to the communication of ALC decision may be taken into account for regularization purpose in this case. R.A may regularize the case accordingly based on the factual position. The R.A shall be advised to take necessary action subject to compliance of other usual conditions.

Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and perused the comments of DC (MSME), Chemical Division conveyed vide their U.O dated 23.02.2011. The Committee felt that for any import into the country that may happen any contagious disease element, Government of India already put Sanitary & Phytosanitary measures. Therefore, the need for seeking views of M/o Health & Family Welfare as suggested by DC (MSME) in this case is unwarranted at this stage. Thus, Committee decided to maintain status quo in this case.
