M/s Provogue India Ltd., Mumbai File No.01/84/50/119/AM-13/DES-V Change of SION from J-315 to J-49. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that applicant firm has requested for change of SION from J-49 to J-315. The Committee is of the view that NC has no role to play in DFIA cases as these are issued only in cases where SION do exist. The issue is not the fixation of ad-hoc norms by NC. Therefore, this case may be handled by Policy Division and the relevant file has already been forwarded to Policy Divsion-4 for further action.
