Minutes of NC-V meeting held on 12.04.2012

        The meeting No.01/AM-13 for the licensing year 2012-13 to consider the cases under Duty Exemption Schemes (Chapter-

Mr. Sharma presented the samples before the NC, give details of the export product and intimate the manufacturing process of the export product. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and consider the request of applicant firm for extension of time for personal hearing. The Committee agreed with the request of the applicant firm and decided to re-list the case for 17.05.2012 for personal hearing.

(26) Case No.10 M/s A.S. Marimuthu, Madurai

PRO version File No.01/84/50/349/AM-12/DES-V Ratification of Advance Authorization No.3510037357 dated 25.01.2012 under para 4.7 HBP. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that applicant firm has not provided the technical literature, supplier’s recipe, justification note and flow chart of the export product to consider the proposal. In view of above, the Committee was unable to finalise the norms and constrained to reject the case. RLA may take suitable consequential action accordingly.

(27) Case No.11 M/s Superhouse Ltd. Kanpur File No.01/84/50/185/AM-11/DES-V Ratification of input output norms against Advance Authorization No.0610018666 dated 05.08.2010. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that there was typographical error in the minutes of NC meeting No.51/AM-11, held on 17.03.2011 in this case and the contents mentioned on export column was incomplete. With the approval of Chairman, NC-V Committee, the contents on export item has been corrected and the applicant firm/RLA has been informed accordingly vide DGFT letter dated 29.03.2012. The Committee considered this case and give its ex-post-facto approval for the necessary correction.

(28) Case No.12 M/s Jiva Design Pvt., Ltd., Faridabad File No.01/84/50/115/AM-12/DES-V Ratification of input output norms in respect of Advance Authorization No.0510216003 dated 08.02.2008. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and decided to call the applicant firm for personal hearing before NC alongwith sample, complete justification and technical person to explain the case. The case stands for re-listing on 17.05.2012.

(29) Case No.13 M/s Masterlal Fabrichem Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai

PRO version File No.01/84/50/168/AM-12/DES-V Ratification of input output norms in respect of Advance Authorization No.0310642424 dated 15.07.2011. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that case is under examination of DC (MSME). It was, therefore, decided to await the same and defer the case for re-listing on 10.05.2012.

With the approval of Chairman, NC-V Committee, the necessary correction has been made in export and import items and the applicant firm/RLA has been informed accordingly vide DGFT letter dated 28.03.2012.
