At the outset the Minutes of NC Meeting No. 40/AM11 dated 30.12.2010, Meeting No. 41/AM11 held on 06.01.2011 and 42/AM11 held on 13.01.2011 were ratified. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that comments called for from Import Policy Division are still awaited. It was therefore decided to remind them and defer the case for re-listing on 17.02.2011.

M/s Ambadi Enterprises Ltd., Gurgoan NC No.43/AM11 F.No.01/84/50/2/AM06/DES-V Dated 20.01.2011 Re-fixation of input output norms in respect of Advance Authorization No.0510154329 dated 29.03.2005. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and heard Sh. Prem Kishor Sinha, AGM (Shipping) of the firm, who appeared for personal hearing. He explained that against the advance authorization in question, firm had imported total 3390.70 Mtrs. but due to fabric rejection of 1665.40 Mtrs.

The Committee observed that net weight is given but no GSM of fabric is mentioned in the documents to enable the Committee to finalized the norms of inputs in Sq mtrs./Pc. Therefore, Committee advised the representative to attend the next personal hearing alongwith GSM and other relevant details to enable the Committee to finalize the norms in its meeting held on 17.02.2011. Hence, it was decided to defer the case for re-listing on 17.02.2011.

Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and went through the details viz., CAD, calculation sheet etc submitted by firm and after deliberations in consultation with the representatives of technical authorities present in the meeting decided to ratify the adhoc norms against the advance authorization issued in this case as detailed below: - Export Product Export Qty. Ltd., Mumbai NC No.43/AM11 F.No.01/84/50/440/AM08/DES-V Dated 20.01.2011 Re-fixation of input output norms in respect of Advance Authorization No.0310350200 dated 04.10.2005. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and went through the details submitted by the applicant firm. It was observed that earlier Committee had cleared the case by amending the width from 60” to 90” without changing in weight import item allowed in Kg with 2% wastage. Now, firm have sent the conversion details and calculation sheet. Accordingly, Committee after deliberations in consultation with the representatives of technical authorities present in the meeting decided to allow 208008.72 Kgs with 2% wastage. The GSM shall match on both side of export and import. The R.A shall be advised to take necessary action subject to compliance of other usual conditions.

Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that relevant details of 3-4 different firms received in this case have been sent to DC (MSME) for their examination and comments. It was therefore decided to remind them and defer the case for re-listing on 17.02.2011.

Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other and observed that this case was earlier decided by NC with 10% wastage whereas firm have asked for 35% wastage in this case. The Committee decided to call the applicant firm for personal hearing before its meeting to be held on 17.02.2011 alongwith complete justification & sample and technical person to explain the case. The case stands deferred for re-listing on 17.02.2011.

M/s Ashima Dye cot Ltd., Ahmedabad NC No.43/AM11 F.No.01/84/162/420/AM11/DES-V Dated 20.01.2011 Ratification of input output norms in respect of Advance Authorization No.0810071809 dated 12.05.2008. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that export item is Cotton bleached fabrics with Lycra whereas import item asked for is grey cotton fabric, which Committee felt that technically not possible to add after completion of manufacturing process. In view of this, it is not possible to compute the requirement of inputs. Hence, Committee was constrained to reject.
