At the outset the Minutes of NC Meeting No. 28/AM11 held on 07.10.2010, NC Meeting No. 29/AM11 held on 14.10.2010, NC Meeting No. 30/AM11 held on 21.10.2010 and Meeting No.31/AM11 held on 28.10.2010 were ratified. The Agenda for individual cases for Meeting No. 32/AM11 dated 04.11.2010 was taken up for discussion and the decision taken in respect of each case is enumerated below: -

more than SION in this case. In view of this, Committee decided to advise R.A to fix input output norms in this
case as per existing relevant SIONs.

Further, on going through the documents submitted it appears that Style No. informed to have been changed from 797066 to 804121 has not been actually modified by the firm as in the Sketches it is still 62349. The Committee on computation as per available details & taking the average measurement of base size of the garment felt that quantitative requirement of inputs @ 2.10 Sq mtrs./Pc is justified in this case. Hence, it was decided to allow the input @ 2.10 Sq mtrs./Pc. The Regional Authority shall be advised to take necessary action subject to compliance of other usual conditions.

Further, Qty. of fabric is without GSM & width; hence, it is not possible to fix the norms in linear Mtrs. In order to compute the requirement of velvet fabric in Mtrs alternatively in Sq mtrs, change in GSM due to embroidery is needed. It was therefore decided to advise the firm to furnish the above information and Qty. of re- exported goods against the advance authorization in question with supporting documents to re-consider this case. The case stands deferred for re-listing on 09.12.2010.

M/s Fabric Style International, Coimbatore NC No.32/AM11 F.No.01/84/50/527/AM05/DES-V Dated 04.11.2010 Request for fixation of input output norms against advance authorization No.32100127023 dated 10.01.2005 Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda and observed that this case has been earlier rejected by NC. Now, firm have also not submitted CAD, CAM, Calculation sheet, measurement in order to compute the requirement of input in this case. It was therefore decided to maintain status quo in this case.

The Committee after detailed deliberations in consultation with representatives of technical authorities present in the meeting felt that 5% wastage is adequate in this case in view of specific design of all the three export item in this case. Therefore Committee decided to ratify the advance authorization issued in this case by allowing total fabric 532780 Mtrs. for all the three export item. Firm have to account for 506141 Mtrs. in the export item. The GSM should match in both import & export. The R.A shall be advised to take necessary action subject to compliance of other usual conditions.

PRO version Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda and went through the details submitted by the firm and observed that in the application import Qty. is mentioned in linear Mtrs. As per detail submitted, width of the fabric is 58” and GSM is 105+/-10% in this case. The Committee after detailed deliberations in consultation with representatives of technical authorities present in the meeting felt that 5% wastage is adequate in this case in view of specific design of all the three export item. Therefore Committee decided to ratify the advance authorization issued in this case by allowing total fabric 77304 Mtrs. in this case for all the three export item.
