M/s Ganga Acrowool Ltd., Ludhiana NC No.20/AM11 F.No.01/84/50/242/AM09/DES-V Dated 12.08.2010 Correction of typographical error in the minutes for fixation of input output norms in respect of Advance Authorization No.3010057031 dated 09.07.2008 – ex-post facto approval regarding. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that there was some typographical error in the minutes of NC meeting held on 18.03.2010. With regard to advance authorization No. 3010057031 dated 09.07.2008, the import item was mentioned from Acrylic Fibre to Acrylic Top in place of Acrylic Top to Acrylic Fibre. Necessary corrections have been carried out in the minutes. The Committee therefore decided to grant ex-post facto approval to this correction.

M/s Floor Décor, Cochin NC No.20/AM11 F.No.01/84/162/766/AM08/DES-V Dated 12.08.2010 Fixation of input output norms in respect of Advance

PRO version Authorization No.1010027072 dated 06.08.2007. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and went through the details submitted by the applicant firm. The Committee after deliberations in consultation with the representatives of technical authorities present in the meeting decided to ratify the advance authorization issued in this case by allowing 1% wastage on item of import taking cue from visit report of NC team given on similar item. Weight of Plastisole should match in the export and import item. A copy of report is attached for ready reference. The R.A. shall be advised to take necessary action subject to compliance of other usual conditions.

M/s Bombay Rayon Fashions Ltd., Mumbai NC No.20/AM11 F.No.01/84/50/224/AM10/DES-V Dated 12.08.2010 Fixation of input output norms in respect of Advance Authorization No.0310541630 dated 23.10.2009. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda and observed that this case is under examination of DC (MSME) and comments are awaited from them. Varanasi (Ref. from PC-4 (B) NC No.20/AM11 F.No.01/84/162/390/AM10/DES-V Dated 12.08.2010 Clarification as to whether export product ‘Hen Feather’ is covered under DEPB entry at S.No 47A of Textiles Product. Decision:- The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and heard Sh. Sayed Hasan Ansari, Partner in the firm, who appeared for personal hearing before the Committee. He explained the case alongwith relevant documents and sample. From sample, it was seen that export item is fabric made out of sequence, beads alongwith embroidered hen feather in a particular pattern in the design as per buyer’s order. The Committee after deliberations in consultation with representatives of technical authorities present in the meeting felt that export product description in question is covered under DEPB Schedule S.No. 89/47A. It was therefore decided to refer this case to PC-4(B) Section with above observation of NC for taking a decision in the matter.
