The Committee further decided to delete ‘of count 40S and below’ for import item. The limiting factor would be quantity only.

PRO version Ratification of input output norms against Advance Authorization No.0410112538 dt. 22.3.2010. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and not more than 10% can be allowed on weight basis. To work out the requirement is Square Meters, the justification has to be on the basis of CAD/CAM/Calculation Sheet/Number of Pieces size wise. The applicant has to choose between these two options and justification be provided by the applicant accordingly. The Norms Committee decided to allow 10% wastage on weight basis.

The GSM should match in import and export item.
