F. No. 01/82/162/976/AM09/DES‐III RAF No. 03/89/040/183/AM09 Adv. Lic. No.   CommiƩee considered case as per agenda and observed that it was earlier considered in 51/09 meeƟng held on 10.03.2009 and it was concluded that the acƟon taken by Zonal Jt. DGFT, Mumbai is in order.    It has been observed that RA has earlier considered the case as per SION A‐215 which is the relevant norm for the export of “Erythromycin Base”. However, the inputs in the said SION are allowed against 1 Kg. export and not on KG acƟvity basis. The CommiƩee aŌer  going through the details of import and export product given in their representaƟon observed that the firm’s request for norms is against  export of Erythromycin  Base in KG acƟvity basis and hence above SION A‐215 may not be applicable.   Taking  a  cue  from  SION  A‐2441,  CommiƩee  observed  that  for  export  product  Roxythromycin,  the  input Erythromycin Thiocyanate (on 100% acƟvity basis) has been allowed to the extent of 1.65 KGA or Erythromycin base (on 100% acƟvity basis) has been allowed to the extent of 1.44 KGA.   Taking above  raƟo  into  consideraƟon  the  CommiƩee  in  consultaƟon  with  the  representaƟve  of  technical authority present in the meeƟng, decided to allow the quanƟty of inputs (Erythromycin Thiocyanate ) @ 1.46 Kg.A/Kg. A of export product or as applied for, whichever is lower.
