Sl. No. Import Item Qty. allowed 4,5,6,7‐ Tetrahydro(3,2,C) Thino Pyridine Hcl 1 Kg 1 Thopen‐2‐Ethylamine 1.13 kg 2 Methanol 1.956 kg 3 Methylene Chloride 1.03 kg   Outside Agenda (Meeĕng No.8/82 dated 25.05.10 :‐     A dra├ Public Noĕce revising 4 SIONs and prescribing  SIONs for 3 new products was submiĥed for approval of DGFT. Regarding SION A‐390(export product‐ Rifampcin) and SION A‐225(export product ‐ Ethambutol Hcl), NC prescribed certain addiĕonal items in  the  proposed  revised  Norms.  DGFT  desired  for clarificaĕon on revision of these two SIONs.  This issue was discussed  in  the  meeĕng.  The  Commiĥee  Members  opined  that  the  addiĕonal items  now prescribed under two SIONs are required in the manufacturing process and  NC has  in the past allowed such addiĕonal items as ad‐hoc norms repeatedly under para 4.7. Thus the Commiĥee decided to again recommend to DGFT  revision of two SIONs. Further, the Commiĥee also discussed about SION A‐3331 which also prescribes Norms for Ethambutol Hcl through a different route. The Commiĥee felt that this SION may also require amendment, in view of amendments being proposed now for SION A‐225. In this respect, the Commiĥee decided to recommend to DGFT  withdrawal of SION A‐3331 ĕll the ĕme  revision of Norms is considered by NC, a├er calling relevant data from PHARMEXCIL.
