MEETING NUMBER : 22/82‐ALC4/2010 MEETING DATE : 31.08.2010 The Meeĕng No.22/82 in the year 2010‐11 to consider the cases under Duty Exempĕon Scheme (Chapter‐4) of Foreign Trade Policy, 2009‐14 pertaining to products falling in Chapter 29 and 30 was held on 31.08.2010 under the Chairmanship of Addl DGFT, Shri V.K. Gupta in his chamber. Following members were present:‐ 1. Shri Shaish Kumar, IA, DIPP 2. Shri Jasbir Singh, IA, Department of C&PC 3. Shri D.N. Mathur, Dy. IA, Department of Pharmaceuĕcals 4. Shri Krishan Kumar, Dy. DGFT 5. Shri Shyam Lal, FTDO Commiĥee discussed the report submiĥed by the Sub‐Commiĥee comprising of Shri V.K. Gupta, Addl. DGFT and Chairman, NC‐3, Shri Shaish Kumar, IA, DIPP, Shri D.N. Mathur, Dy. IA, Department of Pharmaceuĕcals and Shri Shyam Lal, FTDO, DGFT and observed that the Commiĥee has already allowed wastage upto 29% in respect of import of components like Syringes, Stoppers, Needle Shields. Therea├er, against the subsequest advance licences, Commiĥee treat the above components as packing material and allowed wastage as per packing policy. The Sub‐Commiĥee, during plant visit, observed that there is a wastage between 10 to 29%. A├er detailed deliberaĕons and in consultaĕon with technical authoriĕes present in meeĕng decided to accept the report of Sub‐Commiĥee for finalizaĕon of norms in the cases of M/S Gland Pharma Ltd, Hyderadabad for manufacturing of Pre‐filled Syringes. At the outset, minutes of Norms Commiĥee Meeĕng No. 19/82 dated 10.08.2010, 20/82 dated 17.08.2010 and 21/82 dated 24.08.2010 were raĕfied by the Commiĥee.
