DESI, DGFT may kindly refer to the above mentioned licence of M/S Minda Silica on the subject mentioned above. The firm has submitted the information vide their letter 070110.There are different models of both the types of keys. Calculation of universal keys The average net weight of these types of key blanks is around 7.5 gms each. The firm has given the calculation for three types of keys. From the process of manufacture & the calculation submitted by the firm, this Office recommends for gross wastage of 150%. After taking 1/3rd recovery, net wastage of 100% is recommended. The firm’s entitlement, then, comes to 78593 kg & the same is recommended. The total export weight of the product is 39.296 MT & the same may be incorporated in the licence. Calculation of Plastic head keys The net weight of these types of keys varies from 5 gms to 11.57 gms. The firm has given the calculation for three types of keys. From the process of manufacture & the
g f yp f y f g g f g f yp f y p f f calculation submitted by the firm, gross wastage of 150% on steel is recommended. After taking 1/3rd recovery, net wastage of 100% is recommended. The firm’s entitlement, then, comes to 10,700 kg of steel strips. The total export weight of the product is 8659 kg including weight of plastic which is 3.3 MT & the same can be incorporated in the licence. The total recommended quantity of steel strips is 89293 kg. The above issues with the approval of JS(B). DGFT file is returned herewith.. Subject: Application of M/S Meneta Auto for fixation of wastage norms.
DESI, DGFT may kindly refer to the above mentioned licence of M/S Meneta Auto. The firm is an 100 % EOU & had submitted request for fixation of wastage norms. The firm has submitted reply. There are two export products namely back plate & Antinoise Shim. Back plate There are three models namely V1827,V475 & V2186. The firm has given calculation of wastage. There is little over size in width of the coil. The wastage varies from 70.6% to 84.8% on HR Coils. Considering above facts, this Office recommends for wastage of 70% on HR coils for the above three models. Anti noise Shim There are four models namely T1526108, T155513, T176010,T319010. The firm has given calculation of wastage. The shearing loss taken by the firm is 5%. The same can be managed with2% wastage. The wastage varies from 78.8% to 92%. Considering above facts, this Office recommends for wastage of 80% for the above four models on HR Coils. No recovery has been considered as it is a 100% EOU unit. The wastage norm is applicable to this unit only. The above issues with the approval of JS(B).
