But the firm has now given calculation for 58.97 MT of tubes with out any justification or explanation for increase in quantity. The number of pipes given in the drawing (920 numbers) does not match with the number of pipes in calculation. These points may be clarified. 2. The weight of Shell, dished ends and tube sheet has not been taken into account in the calculation of the export product weight. 3. Calculation of requirement of raw material is not supported by the drawing. 4. Copy of the shipping bill if already exported. The Committee decided to reject the case on the ground that the firm did not furnish complete reply with reference to this office letter and subsequent reminder calling for certain information, in the absence of which, it was not possible to decide the requirement of inputs. The firm proposes to export five sets of deareators etc. The firm has submitted reply vide their letter of dated 050209.Based on the information availlable, this Office recomends the following, Export 1. The description of export product may be modified to “5 sets of stork spray type Deareators along aith Accesories & spares” as per their reply. The total export weight is 531 MT and the same may be incorporated in yhe licence. Import 1. Item no 1 The firm has sought wastage of 5%. This Office recommends net wastage of 3% & restrict the quantity to 500 MT. 2. Item no 2This may be allowed as applied for with 5% wastage. 3. Item no 3This may be allowed as applied for with 2% wastage. The weight is 27.5 MT & the same may be incorporated in the licence. 4. Item no 4 “Forgings” may be deleted & “Finished” suffixed in the description may be allowed as applied for without any wastage. 5. Item no 5This may be allowed as applied for without any wastage. However the total weight is 500 kg may be incorporated in the licence. 6. Item no 6This may be allowed as applied for without any wastage.
