However based on information available, this Office recommends the following. 1. The weight of the export product is stated to be 0.285 kg & the number of export item is 65600 pieces. The same may be incorporated in the licence. 2. Normally 2% wastage is allowed in the process of manufacture stated by the firm. But there are perforations & the firm has not given calculation for the same. So this Office recommends for 3% wastage. The entitlement comes to 19257 kg & the same is recommended. Based on the information available this Office recommends the following. Export The total export weight is 558.6 MT & the same may be incorporated in the licence. IMPORT 1. item no 1 to 3 The firm has sought import of different types of steel tubes with 2% wastage. The firm has given calculation for quantity little higher than asked for import at the time of application. This Office agrees for import as applied for. 2. Item no 4 The firm had applied for 170 Mt of plates with 2% wastage. But it has given calculation for 175 MT. this Office recommends for 175 MT of plates.
