No.3(83)/09TSW(B)/169 dated 05.04.2010 recommending the norms. The Committee, after deliberating upon the case, decided to ratify the norms in respect of the subject advance authorization in accordance with their written comments as under: 1. Item no 1(Distributer with inlet Flange) The total export weight of 6 sets is 721 MT & the same may be incorporated in the licence. Item no 1 to 4 of import is used for the manufacture of export item no 1. The net weight of imported raw material is 60.2MT. This Office recommends 15% wastage (10% plasma cutting loss for thick plates +5% wastage due to off cuts) & recommends for 69.23 MT for item no 1 to 4 of import. The firm also proposes to import item no 68 for this. The item does not appear in the material balancing & use also not known. Hence may be deleted. 2. Item no 2 (Generator Support) The total export weight of 6 sets is 417MT & the same may be incorporated in the licence. Item no 5 to 13 of import is used for the manufacture of export item no 2. The net weight of imported raw material is 365.9 MT. This Office recommends 15% wastage & recommend for 420.7 MT for item no 5 to 13 of import. 3. Item no 3 (Nozzle Assembly) Item no 14 to 28 of import is used for the manufacture of export item no 3. The net weight of imported raw material is 80.3 MT. It also contains some raw material. But the export weight is 55.8 MT. Since export weight is less than the net content of imported raw material, the same may be deleted. 4. Item no 4 (Flow measurement system) the firm proposes to import item no 89 for this. The item may be deleted as import & export item appears same & no manufacturing activity involved. 5. Item no 5 (instrumentation for turbine) the firm proposes to import item no 88 for this. The item may be deleted as the firm proposes to import two numbers for export of 6 numbers & Specific use of import item not given. 6. Item no 6 (spares for turbine) Since the main item above is deleted, spares for the same may also be deleted. 7.
