M/S. UNI KLINGER LIMITED, Status: Rejected   HQ File :01/81/050/00432/AM08/ RLA File :31/24/040/00208/AM08/ Lic.No/Date:3110031555 13.11.2007 The  case  was  considered  by  the  committee  as  per  agenda.    Committee  observed  that  applicant  has  not  replied  to  deficiency  letter  dated 10.03.2008.    Further,  Committee  checked  the  ITC(HS)  Code  for  export  product  and  found  that  in  ITC(HS)  Book    published  recently (incorporating  amendment  upto  31.07.2009),  the  ITC(HS)  Code  25240019  does  not  exist.    Apparently,  applicant  has  mentioned  incorrect ITC(HS) Code.  Accordingly, case is rejected.  Committee would like to know the correct Code in order to review the case as work allocation of NCs is based in ITC(HS) of export product.   RA to take consequential action as per policy/procedure.   9 536

M/S. SUKASO CERACOLORS P.LTD., Status: Deferred HQ File :01/85/050/00262/AM09/ RLA File :09/24/040/00421/AM09/ Lic.No/Date:0910037113 18.02.2009  The case was considered by the committee as per agenda.  It was noted that import of  Zirconium Ore  &  concentrates  under ITC(HS) Code 26151000 is free. In this case import item is Zirconium Sand  which  applicant has classified under 2505 9000  under Broad Heading  of Natural  Sands of all kinds whether or not coloured, other than metal bearing Sands of Chapter 26.   Committee is of the  view that Zirconium Sand  appears to be metal bearing sand. Applicant company may clarify how the items is classifiable under chapter 2505  and whether they have received  NoC under  Atomic Energy   Act  & Rules 1962  for import of Zirconium Sand. To be re­listed on 26.11.2009   10 537

M/S. AL KABEER EXPORTS PVT. LTD Status: Approved   HQ File :01/85/050/00123/AM09/ RLA File :03/94/040/00383/AM09/ Lic.No/Date:0310479250 18.07.2008 The case was considered by the committee as per agenda.  It was noted that Advance Authorization No. 0310479250 dt. 18.07.2008 can not be finalized  on repeat basis on decision taken prior to Public Notice No. 37 dated 23.08.2007.  Committee felt that 10% wastage was on higher side  in  this  case  and  preparation  of  Frozen  Cheese  Samosa  filled  with  Feta  Cheese  would  hardly  have  any  wastage  except  for  1­2%  in preparation process.  Accordingly, taking a lenient view, committee ratified import item of 40.49MTwith 2% wastage, as under:­ Export Item Qty. M/S. ESSEM TECHNOPINZ PVT. LTD., NASIK Status: Approved   HQ File :01/80/85/50/457/AM08 RLA File :31/24/40/00205/AM08 Lic.No/Date:3110040878  21.09.2007 The case was considered by the committee as per agenda.  It was noted that NC­1 had ratified norms in this case in Meeting No. 37/08 dated 11.12.2007. Committee considered the representation for review of norms and  noted that since in  export product two Tungsten Carbide Balls are fitted,    Committee decided  to  enhance  its  quantity  to  40,800  Thousand  in  number,   as  requested  by  the  applicant  Firm.    Accordingly, applicant would account for 40800 Thousand numbers of TC Balls on export side.   Committee further decided to allow  1% wastage for import item No.3.  Accordingly, import quantity will work out to 20,200 Thousand.
