No.0610012723 dt.08.01.2008 by allowing maximum flavour content in export product up to 0.25 % with CIF value cap of 10 % FOB value in each case . Committee decided to approve the instant case on repeat basis.   RA to call for details of flavour in each export product and calculate to allow the admissible quantity as above. Import inputs subject to CIF value cap of 10 % in each case.    RLA may take consequential action as per policy/procedure.

Status: Rejected   HQ File :01/85/050/00199/AM10/ RLA File :04/24/040/00231/AM10/ Lic.No/Date:0410110780 12.01.2010 The case was considered by the committee as per agenda.  Committee noted that there had been some restrictions on export of Maize. Since the product in this case, as described in ITC(HS) Book is of Maize, a reference may be made to Export   Division to ascertain  the export policy , whether it is Free, Restricted or Prohibited . 2. Description of export product is Blended Cole Meal Shell. ITC code given in application is 11042300. This code pertains to Cereal grains  otherwise worked ( for example, hulled, rolled, flaked, pearled sliced, or kibbled ) except rice of heading 1006, germ of cereals, whole, rolled, flaked or ground. Even  on  import  side,  the  description  Cob  Meal  is  under  ITC  code  11031300,  which  relates  to  cereals  Groats  and  meal  of  maize  (corn  ).  In  all probability, Import/Export   products may not be maize at all & ITC Code may have been incorrectly given in application .
