appears to be metal bearing sand. Applicant company may clarify how the items is classifiable under chapter 2505  and whether they have received  NoC under  Atomic Energy   Act  & Rules 1962  for import of Zirconium Sand. To be re­listed on 05.11.2009 4 477

Request for fixation of wastage norms for mining, handling, processing and export of Iron Ore.   The case was considered by the committee as per agenda The Committee decided to call  applicant Firm for PH. To be  re­listed on 05.11.2009.     19 492 M/S. ENCORE NATURAL POLYMER LTD., MUMBAI M.NO. 23/10 DT. 08.10.2009 Status:  Deferred. HQ File :01/85/050/00128/AM06/ RLA File :03/80.40.00676/AM06 Lic.No/Date:0310347766 16.09.2005   The case was considered by the Committee as per agenda.  Committee went through the manufacturing process.  The requirement of inputs for the export product could not be correlated.  The  Committee decided to call for the  following from applicant firm :­

1. Technical literature of Propylene Oxide,   Preventol CMK & Guar Gum. 2. Application of these items. 3. End use of export item. 4. Description given in SBs is  Guar Gum  while the description of the product given in manufacturing process is different.  Difference to be explained.  To be re­listed on 05.11.2009.       20 493 M/S. TOLARAM OVERSEAS COPRN., KOLKATA M. NO. 23/10 DT. 08.10.2009 Status: Approved.   HQ File :01/85/050/00341/AM05 RLA File :02/94/040/00262/AM05 Lic.No/Date: 0210075234 DT. 17.02.2005 The case was considered by the committee as per agenda. It was noted that the applicant has represented that the yield/wastage can be arrived at as below:­ (a)    Yield from Sticklac (raw material) to Shellac (finished product) : 55% (b)   Yield from Seedlac (raw material ) to Shellac (finished product) : 90.90%   Accordingly yield from Sticklac (raw material) toSeedlac (finished product) works out to :  50%   ( 55 x 90.90/100)   Applicant has sought lower wastage (i.e higher yield of 70 %) where EO quantity works out to 104650 kg.   Therefore, Committee decide to approve the case and ratify norms as under:­ Export item Qty Import Item Qty. SEEDLAC 104650.000 KG STICKLAC BLOCKED LAC 149500.00 KG RA to take consequential action as per policy procedures.     20 494  Reference from PC­4  to identify the SIONs  wherein fuel has been allowed as consumable and for which DEPB rate  needs to notified. M. NO. 23/10 DT. 08.10.2009 Status: Clarified    HQ File No.  01/85/162/226/AM10/DES­VI PC­4 (B) F.No. 01/94/180/DEPB­Fuel/PC­4 (B)/AM10 The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that PC­4(B)  Section have sought information regarding identification of SIONs of the Food and Misc. Group wherein fuel has been allowed as consumable and for which DEPB rate for this component needs to be notified.  The Committee observed that in the following SIONs of Food ( E­Food Product & K­ Misc. Product) various fuels have been allowed to those units having facilities for captive power generation and as consumable:­   POWER CONSUMABLE
