Case No.B‐111
M/S Shasun Chemicals & Drugs Ltd. Norms Commiៀee Meeퟣng No.12/10 F.No.01/83/050/01137/AM03 Meeퟣng Date: 16.06.2009 RA F.No.04/81/040/00146/AM03 Adv.Lic.No.0410035503 dated 09.01.2003 Commiៀee considered the case as per agenda and observed that Grievance Redressal Cell, Department of Commerce, has referred the maៀer for enhancement in the quanퟣty of inputs since firm had failed to achieve the expected yield in producퟣon of export product resulퟣng in cancellaퟣon of export order a塪er making export to the tune of 18.7 Kgs. as against the export obligaퟣon of 54 Kgs. The Commiៀee was informed that based on Wriៀen Comments of DC(SSI), the firm was allowed total number of 6 inputs but firm has requested for enhancement in the quanퟣty of following three inputs:‐ S.N. Raw material Norms applied per Kg. of Export Product Norms fixed by ALC / Kg. Inputs Consumed / Norms to be revised / Kg. 1. 2,6 Diaminopurine Riboside 3.00 Kg. 2.750 Kg. 4.010 2. Potassium Hydroxide 2.000 0.545 5.775 3. 2‐Methoxy Ethyl Bromide 4.000 1.350 8.021
Commiៀee observed that firm has requested for allowing quanퟣty of three inputs more than that applied for in their applicaퟣon for grant of advance Licence for the said export product for the reason that they had been able to achieve low yield. Commiៀee a塪er detailed deliberaퟣon decided that quanퟣty of inputs have been allowed on the basis of Wriៀen Comments of Technical authority and there is no merit for enhancement of the same on account of reasons detailed by the firm. It was also decided to put up the maៀer to DG for his perusal before a final reply from NC is sent to GRC.
