1 g i ern ei बन i Minutes of Exim Facilitation Committee (EFC) meeting No. 10/AM-20 dated 30.01.2020 for import of restricted items Meeting No, 10 of AM-20 of EXIM Facilitation Committee (EFC) was held on 30.01.20 at 11.00 PM in Room No. 4, H-Wing, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi under the chairmanship of Shri K.C. Rout, Additional Director General of Foreign Trade to ‘consider the applications for import of restricted items, 1 oo, 2. DGFT, DGFT (iii) Shri Santanu Dhar, Under Secretary, M/o P&NG (iv) Shri Gandharva Nagpal, Scientist ‘C’, D/o Biotechnology (v) Shri A.K. Mishra, A.LA., Ministry. of Steel (vi) Shri Nand Lal, Consultant, DPIIT (vii) Shri Yogesh Kumar, JSO, D/o AHD&F 3. Total number of cases considered in the meeting was 304. The committee decided that as in the past, all NOC/documents received/conveyed by the concerned committee members will be incorporated in the minutes as and when uploaded. Accordingly, 56 cases were approved, 09 cases were rejected, 05 Cases were closed & 231 cases were deferred. Where two or more technical authorities have recommended different quantities, the lower quantity has been approved by the Committee, The case recommended for approval at Sl. No, 188, 209 and 226 will be submitted for approval of the Director General of Foreign Trade under Para 2.20 of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020 and approval will be separately communicated. मु 4, The Regional Authorities of DGFT are required to issue import authorizations as mentioned below the cases which have been approved by the Committee. The enclosures, wherever required would be sent by DGFT Hars by e-mail (if enclosures are not received within one week of uploading the minutes on DGFT website, the Regional Authority may remind DGFT (Hqrs) by e-mail on import- dgft@nic.in). The Regional Authorities must issue import authorizations with the conditions as indicated and after ensuring that the fee has been paid at the time of submitting the application to DGFT (Hqrs). They must also cross verify the details mentioned in the import authorization with that in the ANF-2M submitted by the applicant. DGFT ( Hqrs) will not send separate import permission letters except where permission has not been mentioned in the approved cases, in the table below: 51.
