The Meeting No. 07/81 of Norms CommitteeII was held on 06.07.2011 for the licensing year 20102011 under the Chairmanship of Sh. Hardeep Singh, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade to consider the following applications for ratification of norms in respect of advance authorisations under Duty Exemption Scheme (Chapter4) of Foreign Trade Policy 20092014. No. 4(57)/2007‐Met‐II/L dated 14.12.2007 in which M/o Mines had recommended to allow import of copper in copper concentrate with 2% wastage. M/o Mines had also advised to consult DC(SSI), MSME in above maƩer. The comments of M/o Mines has not been received in the above maƩer. In view of above, NC decided to raƟfy the norms of above AA on repeat basis as per wriƩen comments of MSME vide U.O. No. 30(15)/2011‐ME dated 06.05.2011 as under :‐ 1.Taking clue from SION C‐1503, quanƟty of copper in Copper Concentrate in Green Black Powder form may be allowed with 2% wastage i.e. as applied by the firm.
