RATIFIED  MINUTES DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE (DES­II SECTION)   MINUTES OF THE NORMS COMMITTEE­II MEETING NO. 37/81 SCHEDULED TO BE HELD ON 14.12.2010 BUT ACTUALLY HELD ON 21.12.2010.   The Meeting No. 37/81 of Norms Committee­II was held on 21.12.2010 for the licensing year 2010­2011 under the Chairmanship of Sh. M/s. Associated Cables Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai Meeting No. 37/81 F.No.01/81/050/0046/AM09/DES­II      Dated: 14.12. 2010  Advance Licence No. 0310456131dated 02.01.2008   RLA’s F.No.03/94/040/00969/AM08   Decision:­ The Norms Committee decided in respect of the subject advance authorization, as per written comments of DIPP as under vide U.O dated 21.12.2010:­   1. Firm’s request for increase in the quantity of import item at Sl. No. 1 i.e. Continuous cast copper rod may be rejected and they may be informed that it has been allowed as per Engineering Table 4 & 5 (Earlier  Tables 5 & 6) or as applied for by them whichever is minimum.   2. A copy of copy of Annexure giving description and quantity of export products may be forwarded to firm and RA(copy enclosed)               R/A may take suitable consequential action accordingly.   PART – C ­ FRESH   CASE NO. C­ Ministry of Steel, New Delhi Meeting No. 37/81 F.No.01/81/162/670/AM’11/DES­II     Dated: 14.12.2010   Decision: NC decided to issue a Public Notice for modification of SION C­514 on the basis of recommendation of M/o Steel vide U.O.No 2(6)/2010­TW dated 06.10.2010. However, in respect of Sl No 18 of input item, it was decided to retain the existing norm  of 70 kg. Further, it was decided to seek comments from PC­IV to know the existing policy for allowing duty free import of “Furnace oil for Captive Power Plants”. ­­­­­­­­­­
