RATIFIED MINUTES DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE (DESII SECTION) MINUTES OF THE NORMS COMMITTEEII MEETING NO. 13/81 HELD ON 10.09.2013. The Meeting No. 13/81 of Norms CommitteeII for the licensing year 201314 was held on 10.09.2013 under the Chairmanship of Sh. Hardeep Singh, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade to consider the following applications for ratification of norms in respect of advance authorisations under Duty Exemption Scheme (Chapter4) of Foreign Trade Policy 20092014. For this purpose, iniꬅally a lot of copper wire strip is wasted before required coaꬅng thickness is achieved. According to them, the actual wastage varies for 6 % to 44 % from case to case basis and weighted average of the actual wastage is 17.8 % . They therefore stated that wastage of 1 % granted to them is not adequate and requested for grant of waste of 17.8%.
