The Meeting No.12/09 of Norms Committee-II was held on 24.06.2008 for the licensing year 2008-2009 under the Chairmanship of Joint Director General of Foreign Trade (OPH) to consider the applications under Duty Exemption Scheme (Chapter-4) of Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. Toroidal Transformers- (i) Model No. 8579-V2-06, each weighing 37.5 Kg and containing 20.6 kg of CRNGO steel and 14.6 kg of enameled copper wire. Total quantity allowed is 704 nos. (ii) Model No. 8995, each weighing 30.1 Kg and containing 20.6 kg of CRNGO steel and 7.29 kg of enameled copper wire. Total quantity allowed is 1990 nos.

Import side:-

  1. Quantity of item No. 1 may be reduced to 55,496 Kg.(on nil wastage basis).
  2. Quantity of item No. 2 may be reduced to 24,785 Kg.(on nil wastage basis).
  3. Quantity of item No. 3 may be reduced to 10237 meters. (on nil wastage basis).
  4. Quantity of item No. 4 may be reduced to 53,880 Nos.(net to net basis).
  5. Quantity of item No. 5 may be reduced to 5,388 Nos.(net to net basis).  FOB value of export may be increased to Rs. 2,56,50,000(as intimated by the firm in their letter dated 13.06.08.)
