Decision:­ NC noted that earlier firm’s request for modification of SION C­1, C­7, C­394 and C­1479 was considered in NC Meeting No. 24/81 dated  26.02.2013 and as per comments given by DIPP the case was rejected by NC. The decision of NC as under:­ “Aluminium Plate is a value added item and making of aluminium rod by melting Aluminium plate is not a desirable activity. Hence proposal of firm to allow import of Aluminium plate for manufacture of aluminium conductors in above SIONs may not be considered.”  NC noted this time firm again repeated their request for modification of SION C­1, C­7, C­394 and C­1479. NC again considered the latest request of firm for modification of SION C­1, C­7, C­394 and C­ 1479  and  stated  that  modification  of  SION  cannot  be  considered  in  view  of  above  decision.  After  detailed  deliberation  NC  decided  to  reiterate  its  earlier decision. NC also decided to inform the firm and RA Vadodara & RA Mumbai accordingly.   Sl. No. 19
