Minutes of NC-V meeting due for 23.05.2013 but actually held on 30.05.2013

        The meeting No.08/AM-14 for the licensing year 2013-14 to consider the cases under Duty Exemption Schemes (Chapter-

4. was due for 23.05.2013 but actually held on 30.05.2013 in Room No.4 of DGFT under the Chairmanship of Shri K.C. Rout, Addl. DGFT. The following officers were present:- S.No. Name of the representatives and their designation Department

At the outset, the Minutes of NC-V Meetings Nos.06/AM-14, dated 09.05.2013 and 07/AM-14 dated 16.05.2013 were taken for ratification. As there were no amendments to the same, the above referred minutes of 09.05.2013 and 16.05.2013 were adopted for implementation by the Committee without any amendment. The agenda for meeting No.08/AM-14 dated 23.05.2013 was taken up for discussion and the decision taken in respect of each case is enumerated below:-

MANUAL AGENDA CASE

(7) Case No.96 M/s Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd., Faridabad NC 08/AM-14, dt. 23.05.2013 File No.01/84/162/433/AM-13/DES-V Fixation of ad-hoc norms in respect of Annual Advance Authorization No.0510325624 dated 23.05.2012. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and decided to refer to DC(MSME) for their examination and comments. It was decided to defer the case for re-listing on 27.06.2013.

(8) Case No.97 M/s G.R. Corporation, Kanpur File No.01/84/50/353/AM-13/DES-V Ratification of input output norms in respect of Advance Authorization No.0610029561 dated 09.11.2012. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers. It was noted that Mr. Shiv Nath Saini, representative of the firm had came to brief the case before the Committee in its meeting on 23.05.2013 but the meeting was not held because of the absenting of two members. He had presented the case before the Chairman of the Committee when

PRO version F.T.D.O. was also present. The Committee decided to refer the case to DIPP alongwith fresh documents, in original, for their examination and comments. It was decided to defer the case for re-listing on 20.06.2013.

(9) Case No.98 M/s Gulati Exports House, New Delhi File No.01/84/50/739/AM-06/DES-V Ratification of input output norms against Advance Authorization No.0510176607 dated 17.12.2006. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that the case is under examination of DC(MSME). It was decided to await the same and defer the case for re-listing on 13.06.2013.

(10) Case No.99 M/s Madhu India Deco Ltd., Mumbai File No.01/84/162/261/AM-13/DES-V Enhancement of Kraft Paper wastage from 10.19% to 15.42% to 100% EOU. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and decided to send a reminder to the Development Commissioner, Noida Special Economic Zone for submission of the requisite information/details. The case stands for re-listing on 13.06.2013.

M/s Khushi Silk Fabric, Bangalore File No.01/84/162/51/AM-13/DES-V Request to facilitate the issue of DFIA authorization under Textiles SION J-51 for export of dyed/printed 100% Natural Silk Fabric against the import of 100% Natural Silk Fabric for the ratio of 1 Sq. Meter : 1.01 Sq. Meter. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that applicant firm is

The R.A., Bangalore is, therefore, advised to issue advance licence to the applicant firm under 4.7.

M/s Nahar Textiles Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai Part File No.01/84/50/184/AM-04/DES-V Ratification of input output norms against Advance Authorization No.0310203919 dated 06.05.2003. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that the export is in Meter term and import is in Kg. term. Therefore, the Committee after deliberations decided to ask the applicant firm to provide the weight of the export item/GSM of the export product to consider the case further. The case stands for re-listing on 27.06.2013.

The Totgars Co-operative Sale Soviety Ltd., Karnataka File No.01/84/162/085/AM-12/DES-V Import of Areca Nut/Betal nut. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and went through the details submitted in this case. The Committee after deliberations decided to write to Council for Leather Exports, Chennai and Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai alongwith the letter received from the Totgars’ Cooperative Sale Society Ltd., Sirsi, Karnataka to furnish detailed comments within fifteen days in this case.
