Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and decided to refer the case to Deptt. of Revenue with a request to allow the refund of Custom Duty in this case.

F.No. 01/84/162/669/AM-05/DES-V Ratification of input output norms against Advance Authorization No. 0510133230 dt. 23.07.2004 – under Para 4.7 of HBP (Vol.I) 2004-2009. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that in this case norms had already been fixed by NC on the basis of written comments of TC, Mumbai. Hence, Committee did not find any scope to review it and decided to reject the case and to send a copy of the written comments of TC, Mumbai to the firm.

      RLA may take suitable consequential action accordingly.

Case No.62 M/s. Chelsea Mills

PRO version F.No. 01/84/50/316/AM-07/DES-V Ratification of input output norms against Advance Authorization No. 0510192062 dt. 04.10.2006 – under Para 4.7 of HBP (Vol.I) 2004-2009. Ltd., Chennai F.No. 01/84/50/157/AM-08/DES-V Re-fixation of input output norms against Advance Authorization No. 0410090869 dt. 03.09.2007 – under Para 4.7 of HBP (Vol.I) 2004-2009. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and after detailed deliberations in consultation with the representatives of technical authorities present in the meeting decided to allow import item No. 2 i.e ‘Synthetic Sole sheet’ made of SBR of relevant thickness as applied by the firm against the Advance authorization is question. In the description of export item, the word “containing minimum 77.42 Sq mtrs. of import item No. 2 may be suffixed.

The R.A shall be advised to take necessary action subject to compliance of other usual conditions.
