Panipat Ref.No.33/24/40/22/AM06 Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda and it was observed that the import item Unmutilated used Synthetic/Woolen/Hosiery/Cotton Rags is part of the Norms Committee, the Committee decided to reject the case. Since the import item is restricted and fact of the negative list of import obtain the appropriate approval for import from the relevant authority. Negative List of import as per the comments of the Policy Division, the applicant may be obtained from the relevant authority. Import Licensing Committee in DGFT, Accordingly this case is reject, the applicant does have the negative list import. All Regional Authorities to inform the such type of application under 4.7 should not be issued.

J-123 for made-ups of Natural Silk from Public Notice No.75(RE-2007)/2004-09 dt. 26.10.2007 – reg. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda and observed that Public Notice No. 75 dated 26.10.2007 as referred by the firm is applicable only for Cotton products and not for Silk products. Therefore, Committee was of the view that Public Notice No. 75 dated 26.10.2007 does not apply to the products of natural Silk (Where the export product is predominantly contains Silk). Committee, therefore decided to communicate to all R.As accordingly. Firm may also be informed accordingly.

F.No. 01/84/162/1048/AM-08/DES-V Ratification of input output norms against Advance Authorisation No.0310452538 dated 4.12.2007 – under Para 4.7 of HBP (Vol.I) 2004-2009.
