The Meeting No. 27/AM-12 for the licensing year 2011-12 to consider the cases under Duty Exemption Schemes (Chapter-4) scheduled for 6.10.2011 was held on 13.10.2011 in Room No.110 of DGFT under the Chairmanship of Shri A.K.Singh, Jt. Dated 6.10.2011 Fixation of adhoc norms against advance authorisation No. 0710080723 dated 18.7.2011.

Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that firm have neither given CAD, CAM, drawing, design nor measurement, laymarker, calculation sheet, style No. alongwith justification for asking higher Qty. of inputs. In view of the above, Committee was unable to compute the requirement of inputs asked for in this and hence constrained to reject the case.

           RA may take suitable consequential action accordingly.

M/s Pacific Leather, Kanpur NC No.27/AM12 F.No.01/84/50/32/AM12/DES-V Dated 6.10.2011 Fixation of adhoc norms against advance authorisation No. 06100214971 dated 28.3.2011.

The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that case is under examination of DIPP. It was therefore decided to await the same and defer the case for re-listing on 10.11.2011.

M/s A.S. Marimuthu Virudhunagar NC No.27/AM12 F.No.01/84/50/159/AM12/DES-V Dated 6.10.2011 Fixation of adhoc norms against advance authorisation No. 3510034416 dated 21.6.2011.

        The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that the case was earlier rejected by the  NC in its meeting held on 18.8.2011 due to non provision of supplier’s receipe and quantitative requirement of each import and annulled that decision keeping in view   an earlier decision taken in its meeting

held on 10.6.2010 (Meeting No.11/AM11) and decided that in this advance authorization dyes and chemical shall be restricted to 14% of FOB value within the overall cif value of the advance authorization in terms of General Note for textiles at Sr. No. 5.

      The RA shall be advised to take necessary action subject to compliance of other usual conditions.
