The Meeting No.10/09 of Norms Committee-II was held on 10.06.2008 for the licensing year 2008-2009 under the Chairmanship of Joint Director General of Foreign Trade (OPH) to consider the applications under Duty Exemption Scheme (Chapter-4) of Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. The description of the export item to be amended as under:-

  Toroidal Transformers-

(i) Model No. 8578-V2-06, each weighing 37 Kg and containing 20.6 kg of CRNGO steel and 14.6 kg of enameled copper wire. The quantity allowed is 694 Nos. (ii) Model No. 8995-V2-02, each weighing 29.4 Kg and containing 20.6 kg of CRNGO steel and 7.29 kg of enameled copper wire. The quantity allowed is 1618 Nos. Total fob value of exports may be increased to Rs. 11,56,000 ( as indicated in firm’s letter dated 09.06.2008)

  Import Side.
  1. Item No. 1 to read as CRNGO Steel Strips/coils of relevant grade and thickness and it’s quantity may be reduced to 48,580 Kg. (net+ 2%).
  2. Item No. 2 to read as enameled copper wire of relevant grade and diameter and its quantity may be approved as applied for viz net + 1%.
