The Meeting No. 34/10 of Norms CommitteeII was held on 15.12.2009 for the licensing year 20092010 under the Chairmanship of Sh. A. KOMU, Addl. Director General of Foreign Trade to consider the following applications for ratification of norms in respect of advance authorisations under Duty Exemption Scheme (Chapter4) of Foreign Trade Policy 20042009. It is further observed that wastage worked out on the basis of gross weight and net weight indicated in the reply is much higher than the wastage claimed in the main application. It is also not clear whether the reply is relevant with the export product covered in subject authorisation and DHI is not in a position to work out the requirement of inputs. Hence the committee decided to turn down the request of the firm as per DHI comments. 26
