Minutes of the Norms Committee-II Meeting No. 04/09 held on 29.04.2008.
The Meeting No.04/09 of Norms Committee-II was held on 29.04.2008 for the licensing year 2008-2009 under the Chairmanship of Joint Director General of Foreign Trade (OPH) to consider the applications under Duty Exemption Scheme (Chapter-4) of Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009. Decision : The case regarding ratification of norms in respect of above advance authorization was considered by the Norms Committee - II in its M.N0. 04/81 held on 29.04.2008. The committee The Committee observed that the reply of the firm is received in this Directorate and decided to send a copy of the same to DIPP. The case stands deferred and to be relisted on 10.06.2008.

on 29.04.2008. On the basis of the recommendation of the representative of DIPP present in the meeting. The Norms Committee, after deliberating upon the case, decided to ratify the norms in respect of the subject Advance Authorisation as applied for with following modifications:-

1. Total net weight of 107,073 kgs. containing following may be added with the quantity of export product:-

“Copper Wire Rod : 47142.2 Kgs. Nickel : 13,681 Kgs. Steel Wire Rod : 20,167 Kgs. Copper Cathode : 19937 Kgs. MS Billets : 3941 Kgs. Copper Tube : 1893 Kgs. Tin Cathode : 184.5 Kgs. Manganese Metal : 125.1 Kgs.”

2. Quantities of import items at S. Nos. 1 & 3 to 5 may be allowed as applied for after taking clue from SIONs at S. No.s. C-1579, C-206, C-504, C-1581 & C-1801.

3. The quantity of import item No. 2 may be allowed as 14,796 Kgs.

R/A may take suitable consequential action accordingly.
