Import 1.        Item no 1­ Allowed import on net to net basis as there is minor wastage on machining. However import weight is 80 MT may be incorporated in addition to quantity in number. 2.        Item no 2­ Steel plates­The net weight of components made out of steel plates is 771 MT. Allowed import of 980 MT with 27 % wastage as was allowed in case of lic no 1110021160 dt 13­10­09 3.        Item no 3­ This is a component & to be allowed under GN­4. 4.        Item no 4­ Allowed import on net to net basis as there is minor wastage on machining. However import weight is 134.4 MT may be incorporated in addition to quantity in number. 5.        Item no 5­(CRNGO)­ The firm has sought wastage of 17.2 %. The wastage is reasonable. Allowed for import of 584 MT with 11% wastage with 1/3rd recovery. 6.        Item no 6­Allowed import on net to net basis as there is minor wastage on machining. However import weight is 12.4 MT may be incorporated in addition to quantity in number. 7.        Item no 7­ The firm has calculation of the requirement. Allowed for import of 71.5 MT. 8.        Item no 8,9,11 to13, 15 to 17­ These are components & may be allowed under GN­4. 9.               Item  no  10­  Allowed  import  on  net  to  net  basis.  However  import  weight  is  40  MT  may  be incorporated in addition to quantity in number. 10.    Item no 14 ­  Allowed 78927 kg with1% wastage. 11.    Item no 18 to 23­ These are insulating materials. The total import value is around 2% of the FOB value of Generator. Allowed import with value restricted to 2% of the FOB value of Generator.   The Regional Authority may take necessary action accordingly   23
