Note No.3(40)/10TSW(B)/412 dated 28.07.2011 and noted that DHI has recommended item No.1 751 MT with 5% wastage. However, the Committee felt that normally plates for testing are considered as inputs for fixation of norms. Therefore, the Committee, decided to increase import item no.1 from 751 MT to 766 MT and wastage 5% to 7%. The balance norms to be ratified as per DHI written comments. The ratified norms of the said advance authorization are as under: Export The export item is 1 set of boiler. The total weight of export product is 22485 MT to be incorporated in the licence. Import There are 82 items of import which consists of Raw material, components & spares. 1. Item no 1 Allow 766 MT with 7% wastage. 2. Item no 2 Allow 205 MT with 5% wastage. 3. Item no 3 Allow 92 MT with 1% wastage as applied by the firm. 4. Item no 4 Allow 9 MT with negligible wastage. 5. Item no 5 Allow 2 MT with negligible wastage. 6. Item no 6 Hollows to be allowed at 916 MT with 10 % wastage. CS tubes at 1377 MT with 2% wastage, CS PIPE at 517MT & ERW 482 MT with 2% wastage.(Total Allowed 3292 MT) 7. Item no 7 Blooms to be allowed at 279 MT with 20 % wastage (Taking clue from SION C797). AS tubes at 926 MT with 2% wastage, AS PIPE at 385 MT with 2% wastage.(Total Allowed 1590MT) 8. Item no 8 Allow 336 MT with 2% wastage. 9. Item no 9 These are fittings, tees etc. May be allowed under gn4 with out any wastage with accountability clause. However the weight is 59 MT may be incorporated in the license. 10. Item no 10 Welding wire 35MT, Electrode3 MT, Cobalt based powder 2 MT, welding Flux 2 MT as applied by the firm as the quantity is reasonable. 11. Item no 13,17,27 to be deleted as this is not component of the export product. 12. Item no 16,22,26 are raw materials. The firm has sought no wastage on these items. May be recommended as applied for with accountability clause. 13. Item no 34 & 35 to be deleted as the firm has not given calculation of the requirement. 14.
