Turbine­ 50 MT each – total 2 sets MIV – 20 MT each­ total 2 sets Hydro generator­ 78 MT each­ total 2 sets Import 1.       Item no 1­ CRNGO­ The firm has claimed wastage of 33 % on CRNGO sheets. The firm has used oversize plates. Allowed for 30% wastage. The net weight of item is 10.869MT. With 1/3rd recovery of wastage this office recommends for import of 13 MT with 20 % wastage. 2.       Item no 2­ CRGO Sheet­ The firm has used little oversize plates. Allowed for gross wastage of 60 %. With 1/3rd recovery, this office recommends for import of 18.9 MT with 40% recovery. 3.       Item no 3­ The net weight of component is 5910 kg. The firm has used little oversize plates. Allowed for gross wastage of 42%. With 1/3rd recovery, recommend for import of 7565 kg with 28 % wastage. 4.       Item no 4, 7 ,9,16,18 & 20 and 22­ The item is required for the spares to be supplied as per the information submitted by the firm. But the item does not appear in the export list. Hence to be deleted. 5.       Item no 5­ This is a component. Allowed under GN­4. 6.       Item no 6­ Allowed at 3497 kg with 1% wastage. 7.       Item no 8­ Allowed at 3806 kg with 1% wastage. 8.       Item no 10 to 13 – These are insulating material. Allowed within 0.15 % of the fob value of generator. 9.       Item no 14­ The firm has informed at para 3 of their reply of dated 29­01­11 that the wastage is 25.96 %.
