MEETING NUMBER : 4/82‐ALC4/2008 MEETING DATE : 29.04.2008   The Meeting No.04/09 in the year 2008‐09 to consider the cases under Duty Exemption Scheme (Chapter‐4) of Foreign Trade Policy, 2004‐09 pertaining to products falling in Chapter 29 and 30 due for 22.04.2008 was  held on 29.04.2008  under the Chairmanship of Export Commissioner, Shri Sanjay Rastogi.   Following members were present:‐  Shri D.N. Mathur, Dy. IA, PI Division, C & PC. M/s Lupin  Ltd M.No.04/09 F.No.01/82/162/1352/AM 05 Meeting Date 29.04.2008     Committee  decided  to  withdraw  case  as  the  case  has  already  been  discussed  in  its  3/09 meeting held on 22.04.2008.

M/s Alkem Laboratories  Ltd M.No.4/09 F.No.01/83/50/409/AM 08   Adv. Lic. No.  0310430680 dt.25.05.2007   The Committee considered  the  case  as  per  agenda  for  ratification  of  norms  for  the  export product  Sucralose USP  under para 4.7 of HBP.   Committee  decided  to  withdraw  case  as  firm  has  been  called  for  personal  hearing  on 13.05.2008.

M/s Anuh Pharma Ltd. M.No.4/09 F.No.01/87/50/15/AM 07

Adv. Lic. No0310368569 dated 24.02.2006   The Committee considered  the  case  as  per  agenda  for  ratification  of  norms  for  the  export product  Erythromycin Stearate Granulated Direct Compressible for tablets  under para 4.7 of HBP.   Committee  decided  to  call  from  RA/firm  a  copy  of  Licence  amendment  sheet  declaring supporting manufacturer. Accordingly, case was deferred to 03.06.2008.

M/S  Tamil Nadu Petroproducts Ltd. NC Meeting No.04/09 F.No.01/83/162/165/AM06   The Committee considered the case as per agenda for fixation of value addition for DEPB rate in respect of export product Epichlorohydrin.    Committee decided to defer case to 13.05.2008.

M/S Alliance Laboratories Ltd M.No.04/09 01/82/50/424/AM08 01/83/50/1037/AM08   Adv. Lic. No0310430399 dated 23.05.2007 Adv.Lic. No.0310441279 dated 30.08.2007     The Committee considered  the  case  as  per  agenda  for  ratification  of  norms  for  the  export product  Iso Sorbide‐5‐Mononitrate  under para 4.7 of HBP.    Committee  observed  that  firm  has  now  given  chemistry  differemt  from the one given initially along with their application for Advance Authorisation. It was, therefore, decided to close the case.   RA concerned may take further necessary action as per above decision of NC.

M/S Cipla Ltd. M.No.04/09 F.No.01/83/50/1290/AM08 RLA F.No.03/94/40/684/AM08

Adv. Lic. No0310445036 dated 03.10.2007     Committee considered case as per agenda for amendment in the description of import item under para 4.7 of HBP.   Committee observed that there is a typographically error in the description of import item. Committee,  therefore,  decided  to  allow  amendment  in  the  description  of  import  item  to  read  as “(2R,5S)‐5‐[4‐Acetamido‐2‐Oxo‐1(2H)‐Pyrimidinyl]‐1,3‐Oxathiolan‐2‐YL, Methyl Menthyl Carbonate”   RA concerned may take further necessary action as per above decision of NC.

M.No.04/09 F.No.01/83/50/1500/AM08 RLA F.No.09/24/40/305/AM08 Adv. Lic. No.0910031987 dated 05.11.2007     Committee considered case as per agenda for revision of norms for export product Florfenicol from Thiamphenicol route under para 4.7 of HBP.   Committee decided to defer case for 03.06.2008 for comments of PI Division.

M.No.04/09 F.No.01/82/50/1860/AM07 RLA F.No.09/24/40/481/AM07 Adv. Lic. No.0910029748 dated 23.03.2007     Committee considered case as per agenda for revision of norms for export product Noscapine Hcl under para 4.7 of HBP.   Committee observed that firm has been requested to furnish technical information vide letter dated 08.04.2008, but no reply has been received. Committee, therefore, decided to remind firm to furnish their reply and defer case to 03.06.2008.

M.No.04/09 F.No.01/87/162/590/AM08     Committee considered  case  as  per  agenda  for  fixation  of  SION  for  export  product  Phenyl Pyridyl Acetamide (Phenyl‐a‐(2‐Pyridyy) Acetamide).   Committee  observed  that  firm  has  been  requested  to  furnish  their  application  through Pharmexcil alongwith All Industry Data vide letter dated 09.04.2008, but no reply has been received. Committee, therefore, decided to await reply of firm/Pharmexcil and defer case for 03.06.2008.

Committee considered case as per agenda for modification of SION for export product D(‐) Para Hydroxy Phenyl Glycine Methyl Potassium Dane Salt   Committee decided to ask firm to furnish their application through Pharmexcil alongwith All Industry Data. Accordingly, case was deferred for re‐listing on 10.06.2008.
