It was noted that both the cases were considered in NC meeting No. 10/AM11 held on dt 11.06.2010 and the applicant firms were asked to furnish information vide letter dt. 25.06.2010 and reminders were issued on dt. 09.07.2010. Reply is awaited . Further, as per decision taken by NC comments were sought from MFPI, Directorate of Sugar vide letter dt. 17.06.2010 and followed by reminder on 09.07.2010. The reply from MFPI & Directorate of Sugar is still awaited. Reminders may be issued to all. Taking note of this, the Committee decided as under: (1) In the meeting a suomoto review for SION E1 & E5 be undertaken within a period of 6 months. For this, industry data be called from major manufacture exporters like: (i) M/s. Parle Products Ltd., (ii) M/s. Priya Gold Ltd., (iii) Britannia Industries Ltd., (iv) M/s. Mrs. Beckor & Co. Ltd., & (v) M/s. Disha Foods Ltd., as well as from All Indian Biscuit Manufacturing Association, PHD House ,New Delhi. (2) In the meanwhile, in order that to prevent any potential misuse, Actual User Condition be imposed on import items 1,2,3 of SION E1 and import items 1,2,3,4 & 5 of SION E5. Accordingly, the Committee recommended that the following note be included in SION E1 & E5. Note for E1: Import item at Sl. No. 1, 2 & 3 shall be allowed with actual user condition & with accountability of actual use on the export side. Note for E5: Import item at Sl. No. 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 shall be allowed with actual user condition & with accountability of actual use on the export side. The files are be submitted to DG for orders.
