DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE DES­VI (FOOD & MISC)   Minutes of the meeting   of NC­VI held on 18.03.2010                                           Meeting No. 46/AM10  for the licensing year 2009­10 to consider cases under Duty Exemption Schemes (Chapter­4) of Foreign Trade Policy 2009­14 pertaining to Misc. & Food Products   was  held on 18.03.2010 under the Chairmanship of Shri A.K. SINGH, Jt. DGFT.  Following officers were present in the meeting.     S.No. Name of the Officer Designation Department 1.   Sh. Shaish Kumar I.A. M/S.FERMENTAPHARMA BIOTECH LTD., M.No. 46/10 18.03.2010 Status:  Rejected HQ File :01/85/050/00223/AM10/ RLA File :03/94/040/00938/AM10/ Lic.No/Date:0310558476 04.02.2010   The case was considered by the committee as per agenda.  ITC(HS) Code indicated by the applicant for export product “Vitamin D3 Resin 10 MIU  in Sunflower Oil” is 23021090.  It was noted that Vitamin D­3 is not mentioned in Chapter 23 of ITC(HS) Book.  Resin as well as Sunflower Oil are  also not mentioned in Chapter 23.  Apparently, there is  a mistake in ITC(HS) Code of the export product.  NC feels that export product may be Sunflower Oil containing Vitamin D­3 Resin 10MIU.  In any case Vitamin falls under Chapter 29.  If, in fact, the export product  is Sunflower Oil, its export policy needs to be checked.  Applicant  is,  therefore,  to indicate the correct ITC(HS) Code of the product.  At this stage, the application is technically rejected.   9 917
