Minutes of NC-V meeting held on 21.03.2013

        The meeting No.50/AM-13 for the licensing year 2012-13 to consider the cases under Duty Exemption Schemes (Chapter-
  1. was held on 21.03.2013 in Room No.108 of DGFT under the Chairmanship of Shri K.C. Rout, Addl. DGFT. The following officers were present:-

As there were no amendments to the same, the above referred minutes of 07.03.2013 and 14.03.2013 were adopted for implementation by the Committee without any amendment. In the import item against the export item No.7, Nylon Yarn FC1676 has been mentioned in place of P84(Blue) yarn. The Committee, after deliberations, decided to correct the typing error and the import item against the export item No.7, P84(Blue) yarn may be read in place of Nylon Yarn FC1676.

Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that applicant firm has given GSM of various fabrics and sheets in wide variation like Non-woven SMMMS/SMMS/SMS spun bond fabric as 15-75, Spunlace fabric 25-150, Laminated fabric 25-130 and so on, whereas the Committee allowed 10% (+/-) variation in GSM. The total import weight of individual fabric and weight per individual export item has also not been given by the applicant firm. Due to wide variation in GSM and non-availability of weight of import and export item, it is not possible to compute the weight of the export item and requirement of quantity of import item. In view of as per written comments of DC(MSME) conveyed vide their U.O. No.37(5)/128/2012-13/Hos., dated 20.3.2013, the Committee was unable to finalise the norms and constrained to reject the case.
