The wastage is more due to oversize plates & higher thickness of plates compared to components. Allowed for gross wastage of 20% & recommend for import of 39 MT with 14% wastage. 3. Item no 3‐ SS pipes‐ The net weight of pipes is 904 Kg. Allowed import of 950 Kg with 5% wastage. 4. Item no 4‐AS rods‐ The net weight is 6948 kg & the firm has sought wastage of 99.7 %.
