At the outset, the Minutes of NC-V Meetings Nos.20/AM-15 for 21.08.2014 and 21/AM-15 for 28.08.2014 were taken up for ratification. As there were no amendments to the same, the above referred minutes of 21.08.2014 and 28.08.2014 were adopted for implementation by the Committee without any amendment. Decision: The Committee considered the case as per agenda alongwith other relevant papers and observed that applicant firm has not provided the net content of the import item in new export quantity of 651Kgs. In absence of net weight of import in 651 Kgs export the Committee is unable to calculate the wastage and requirement of the firm. Therefore, the Committee after deliberations decided to ask the applicant firm to provide the net content of the import item in new export quantity for consideration of the proposal. The case stands for re-listing on 09.10.2014.

Re-fixation04.09.2014 of input output norms in respect of Advance Authorization __No. Decision:0710103088ThedatedCommittee20.03.2012considered the case as per agenda alongwitha other relevant papers and observed that applicant firm has requested to allow in respect of above said authorisation. The applicant firm has summited that they were allowed 3% wastage by the committee in this authorisation whereas in the earlier Advance Authorisation no. 0710102042 dated 07.02.2014 the firm was allowed 5% wastage. The committee considered the case with details and observed that in Advance Authorisation no. 0710102042 dated 07.02.2014 there were 22 export items in which different type of fabrics were given and one of the fabric was 94% silk 6% Spandex dyed /printed fabric. The committee considered earlier case in general and allowed 5% wastage for all items. In this case export item is only one (i.e 94% Silk 6% Spandex dyed/printed fabric) for which 3% wastage in input item (94% silk and 6% spandex fabric) has already been allowed. Accordingly the committee is constrained to reject the request of the firm.
