(ii)  S. Nos. 17 & 29 of agenda was approved subject to receipt of hard copy of NOC from D/o Fertilizers.    2.2 The following 04  cases  were rejected­   (i)    S.Nos.  9, 11, and 21 of agenda were rejected as the Technical authorities have not agreed for the same. (ii)  S. No. 1 of the agenda was rejected as the firm has not replied even after reminder.   2.3 In case of the item in supplementary agenda, it was decided that as per policy (Notification No. 88 Dated 26.02.09, DGHS may consider NOC.   2.3             In cases at S.Nos. 2 & 10 letters to be written to the NBA as what false information has been furnished by the firm as informed by NBA vide their letter dated 11.01.10.(cases deferred)   2.4             All other cases in the agenda were deferred except cases at S.No. 2.1 and 2.2 above as comments not received from concerned Ministries/Departments/ Organisations. Approved   Note:­  Case No. 29:  Representative of D/o Fertilizer informed that case has been approved for NOC and they will issue NOC in 2­3 days time.     SUPPLEMENTARY AGENDA FOR EXPORT FACILITATION COMMITTEE (EFC) MEETING NO.  10/AM’10  DATED 22.01.10   (i)      M/s. Cuttack Diabetes Research Foundation have requested for grant of permission for export of following Biological Samples to M/s. Amanda Loth, The Water & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, IG Royal Parade, Parkville, Victoria, Australia:­   S.No. Item Qty 1 Whole  Human Blood 4998 tubes containing 7.5 ml per tube 2 Serum 8330 tubes containing 0.5 ml per tube 3 Plasma 6664 tubes containing 0.5 ml per tube   ­                     The firm has approached the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for grant of NOC for export.  But, DCGI have asked them to approach DGFT for grant of permission.  As per para 9 of Notification No. 88 dated 26.02.09, the export of Whole Human Blood, Plasma and all products derived from human blood except gamma globulin and human serum albumin  manufactured from human placenta and human placental blood  etc are freely exportable subject to NOC from DGCI.  It is not understood why DGCI have asked the applicant to approach DGFT of licence. ­   (   Decision:   As per policy DGHS may consider NOC.)
