Amendment in Standard Input Output Norms (SION) of Engineering Product group: Suspension of SIONs C-594, C-791 to C-796 and C-831 Policy In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 & 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Trade (FTP), 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign hereby makes the following amendments in the Standard Input Output Norms (SION): 2. Allocation of additional quantity of 2051 MT for export of raw sugar to USA under Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for the US Fiscal Year 2022. In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraphs 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby allocates an additional quantity of 2051 MT raw sugar for export under Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) to USA for the US fiscal year 2022 (October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022). With this additional allocation, quantity for export of sugar to USA under TRQ for the fiscal year 2022 would be as under: -

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign 'Trade hereby amends Para 2.90 A of Handbook of Procedure- 2015-20, as notified vide Public Notice No. 43/2015-20 dated 05.12,2017 read with Public Notice No. 52 / 2015-20 dated 05.01.2016, Public Notice No. 05/2015-20 dated 09.05.2018, Public Notice No. 43/2015- 2020 dated 01.11.2018, Public Notice No. 16/2015- 2020 dated 04.07.2019, Public Notice No. 66/20152020 dated 30.03.2020, Public Notice No. 16/2015-2020 dated 22.9.2020 and Public Notice No. 46/2015-20 dated 30.03.2021 on laying down the procedure for implementation of the Track and Trace system for export consignments of drug formulations.

Implementation of automation in the Customs (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty) Rules, 2017 with effect from 01.03.2022

Procedure for allocation of quota, for year 2022-2023, for import of (i) Calcined Pet Coke for Aluminum Industry and (ii) Raw Pet Coke for CPC manufacturing industry — regd. S.0O.(E): The Hon’ble Supreme Court in the Writ Petition No. 13029/1985 vide its order dated g® October, 2018, has decreed that the import of raw material for use as Calcined Pet coke (CPC) in Aluminum Industry cannot exceed 0.5 Million MT per annum in total. Similarly, import of Raw Pet Coke for CPC manufacturing industry cannot exceed 1.4 Million MT per annum. In light of the Order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the import policy condition of Pet Coke was amended vide Notification No. 42 dated 23" October, 2018 wherein it had been indicated that the regulation and monitoring of such imports will be as per the guidelines of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change issued vide OM No Q-18011/54/2018CPA dated 10" September, 2018.
