process and expediting Customs clearances-reg Attention of all Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers andTrade 1s invtea towards various circulars issued by CBIC on Faceless Assessment issued to streamline the process and expedite assessment in FAG. The trade has represented that despite of various measures, the assessment of Bill ol Enuy allotted to FAG is delayed because of multiple queries and marking BE 1or irst check examination etc. The issues of FAG matters have been examined, and in order to reduce time ol assessment and maintaining dwell time of all the Groups of FAG at this port (INMUNI), following measures are reiterated: 2. The Assessment of Bills of Entry is allowed between 10 AM till 8 PM as per CBIC Circular No. 14/2021 dated 07.07.2021. Any difficulty faced by the trade during the period may be brought to the notice of concerned Additional/Joint Commissioner. . The officers have been suitably instructed not to raise multiple queries. A mechanism to monitor the queries raised by FAG is already in place. i. Similar exercise as detailed in (i) above have been undertaken for Bills of Entry marked for First Check examination, the Bills of Entry pushed to PAG after multiple queries and pulled for assessment at PAG. ii.

A number of instructions have been issued to the officers to avoid multiple queries, and trade has also been requested that in order to avoid query, the importers/ Customs broker should file BE with Complete description of goods and upload necessary documents in e-Sanchit. However, many instances have been noticed wherein the Importer/CB do not declare complete description of goods and/or upload proper documents. As a V. result, the officers are compelled to raise queries and in the case of improper/insuflicient replies, they have to push back the bill of entry to PAG. Hence, the Importers/Custom Brokers should ensure to upload the following information and documents in the bills of entry: i). Declare complete description which include 1) Generic mentioned in ADD Note etc. 2) Specilic Description 3) Brand/Make /Model 4) Supplier /manufacturer 5) Item Qualifier description la

() BIS/ETC / WPc/ LMPC / EPRA etc. wherever applicable and any Otner documents required as per CCR/GD instructions. (11) The Product catalogue/technical literature, if any. (iv) Form 1 as per CAROTAR, 2020 and supporting documents to substantiate regional value criteria. (v) Previous bills of entry. (vi) Export Documents/ Freight Certificate / Proof of surrender of Export benelit in case of re-imported goods. (Vi) Ensure suflicient balance in License even after loading in Bill of Entry. (vii) Ensure proper UQC as per CTH. (1x) Any other document which are essential for assessment. The Importers/CB may contact Superintendent/Appraising Officer, Turant Suvidha Kendra, Mundra Customs in case of any grievance related to clearance of the Bills of Entry pertaining to Mundra Customs. They may also communicate their grievance relating to clearance of the Bills of Entry on E-mail ID at tsk-mundra@gov.in. TSK will forward the grievance to the concerned FAG/TSK/ Concerned Group for early V. redressal. The Trade is requested to bring the issues of delay, unwarranted queries and first check orders to the notice of concerned ADC/JC. They can contact Additional/Joint Commissioner through email, for any matter pertaining to Mundra Customs, on email id of the concerned ADC/JC. 1.
