Subject :Validity of Customs Pass under Regulation 13 of CBLR

2018-reg. Attention of the Trade and Industry is invited to Notification No.62/2021 Cus (N.T) dated 23.07.2021 issued by CBIC and Public Notices No. 203/2021 dated 19.01.2022 & No. 204/2021 dated 24.01.2022 issued by Pr. Commissioner of Customs (Gen), Mumbai Customs Zone -I wherein it was notified that in respect of Licenses issued under Regulation 7 (2) of CBLR 2018 or Corresponding provisions of earlier CBLR, the intimation giving "LIFE TIME" validity will be sent to their office addresses available on record and on their email addresses. 2. In view of the above, the following modifications have been made in Public Notice No. 11/2020 dt. 14.02.2020 issued vide F. No. S/6-36/2004 Admn./P as a further facilitation measure. The validity of Photo ldentity card/Customs Pass (G Category, G with P/A and F category) issued to an employee of a Customs Broker shall be co-terminus with the validity of CB Licence. The validity of Photo ldentity card/Customs Pass of all categories (HIGIG with PoA/F) issued in favour of any Owner/Proprietor/Partner/Director shall also be co-terminus with the validity of CB Licence.
