Committee noted that DC MSME) has recommended vide their U.O No. 17(1) /2006 Chem dated 21.4.2008 1.1 kg of import input, namely, Coal Tar Pitch (Soft/Medium) for production of 1.0.kg of export product, Coal Tar Pitch Hard. It was further noted that as per the flowchart of manufacturing process, creosote oil and Anthracene oil are produced while manufacturing the export product. Data Sheet provided by the applicant indicates Creosote oil as a recoverable wastage/by product valued at Rs. 10,000 per MT. Hoewever, the quantity of recoverable wastage has been shown as 0.10 MT at one place and as 0.288 MT at another place. Committee decided to seek the following clarification from DC(MSME) ( I ) What is the actual quantity of creosote oil produced per unit of export product and what is its cost ? ( ii ) How much Anthracene oil is produced as by product per unit of export product and what is its recoverable cost? (iii) Whether the recoverable wastage has been taken into account while recommending input output norms id U O d d 21 4 2008
