Norms Committee Minutes of the Meeting No. 07/AM 21-22 dated 25.10.2021 under the Chairmanship of Shri Hardeep Singh, Addl. DGFT.

The following Members of the Committee were present in the meeting:-

(i) Shri Shaish Kumar, Technical ExpertM (ii) Shri D.N. Mathur, Technical Expert (iii) Shri Nand Lal, Technical Expert

The Committee first considered the minutes of the Norms Committee Meeting No. 07/AM 21-22 dated 25.10.2021 for confirmation and confirmed the same without any change.

Status Case: Deferred Decision: Meeting Remarks :- The Committee considered the case as per Agenda and decided to call for the information of following deficiencies:

  1. Manufacturing process giving each raw material where it is used in manufacturing of export item, enclosing drawing/design of the product.
  2. Net import content of the each raw material in the export item indicating separately wastage of each raw material with justification of wastage.
  3. Complete calculation of requirement of raw material in manufacturing the export product, giving weight of export product.

  2. Difference in Pellets and Granular Activated Carbon, giving its application/function.
  3. Reason with justification for requirement of 6 lakhs Kg of Activated Carbon Granular for the production of around 2 lakhs kg of activated carbon Pellets.
  4. Production of Activated Carbon Pellets vis a vis consumption of activated Carbon Granular for the last three years duly certified by Chartered Accountant.
