Party Name:LARSEN & TOUBRO LIMITED 29.09.2009 Status:case rejected HQ File :01/80/050/00301/AM09/ RLA File :04/24/040/00223/AM08/ Lic.No/Date:0410091098 18.09.2007   Decision : The case regarding ratification of norms in respect of above authorization was considered by the Norms Committee (NC­I) in its Meeting  No.  26/10  held  on  06.10.2009  as  per  the  agenda.  The  DHI  furnished  written  comments  in  this  case  vide  their  U.O.  No.  3(142)/2009/TSW(B) dated 5.10.09 informing that  the firm has not furnished the complete information in their reply dated 01.08.09. DHI had pointed out that firm had mentioned export weight in application as 223MT whereas as per drawing it comes to 91.45 MT.  Further, in the reply weight mentioned is 258.68 MT which has created confusion.  Further, the firm has not given calculation for steel plates and refractory material proposed for import.  The  Committee,  therefore,  decided  to  reject  the  case  on  the  ground  that  the  firm  did  not  furnish  complete  reply  with reference to this office letter and subsequent reminder calling for certain information, in the absence of which, it was not possible to decide the requirement of inputs.    The RLA may take necessary action accordingly.   5
