*It was observed by the Committee that net weight indicated against Export Product No. 2 is 5000.00 Nos. (509.50 kgs.) and quantity of Import Item No. 2 – Carbon Black is 12228.400 kgs. +3% wastage. Since, the quantity of Carbon Black is not indicated in the Export Product, it is not possible for NC to work out exact quantity. Hence, it was decided that RA, Mumbai may ask firm to indicate quantity of Carbon Black contained in Export Product and then in this quantity 3% wastage may be added and the import quantity may be worked out accordingly.

        It was also decided that since licence date is 21.07.2005 which has already expired, hence no fresh import shall be allowed

against this licence. The quantity approved is for the purpose of discharge of export obligation and regularization of licence only. The raw material imported should be within the validity period of the licence.
